Due to changing social and economic structures, the problem of destitute women is on the rise. Women with social, economic, and psychological problems especially from the lower sections of society have nowhere to go. In their helpless situation, they become victims of exploitation. The short-stay home run by Care becomes a haven for such women in distress. Women in distress are provided safety, their basic needs are met and medical and psychological help are extended as required. It serves as a home to homeless women.
